FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Q: How many tables and chairs do you have? 

A: We have 15 - 72” round tables that seat 10 each, 150 white garden chairs, and 6 - 8 foot buffet tables ​

 

Q: Do you supply linens?

A: We do not supply linens; however, our Decorator has a large variety of colors to choose from for rent.

​

Q: Can we place tables and chairs on the grass?

A: Yes, tables and chairs may be placed on the grass.

​

Q: Do you have a dance floor?

A: The reception hall is large, so with some rearrangement of chairs and tables, there is room for dancing

​

Q: What is the optimal time for the ceremony?

A: We highly recommend choosing an afternoon time (up to 5 pm) for the ceremony, so wedding party and guests don’t feel rushed

​

Q: Do you have changing rooms? 

A: Yes, the Bride and bridesmaids are accommodated in two lovely rooms. Groom and groomsmen will use the Groom’s room

​

Q: Do you have changing rooms if guests need them?

A: Yes, there are restrooms for guests as changing rooms

​

Q: Can we serve alcohol?

A: Yes, alcohol is allowed during the reception. The client must use The Wedding Chapel bartenders. (See alcohol policy for full details)

Q: What time does the bar open/close?

A: The bar opens at beginning of reception when food is served; closes at 9 pm. Total time bar may be open = 4 hours.

​

Q: When is the music to be turned off?

A: Music must be off by 9:30 pm

​

Q: Is there a curfew?

A: All guests leave the premises by 10 pm

​

Q: Can I bring lawn games?

A: Yes! Feel free to bring Frisbee, bocce, soft horseshoes, etc.

​

Q: What about garbage?

A: Bags and large garbage cans are provided.  Clean-up crew and/or caterer is responsible to bag the garbage and place it in our garbage bins.

Q: Do you have any specific policies I should know about?

A: Yes, as follows--

  • Certified service animals only, on leash at all times; owners are required to clean up after them

  • No outside food or alcohol in Bride’s changing rooms

  • No alcohol to be consumed on premises before bar opens

  • Children are not allowed to climb trees

  • Open flames are prohibited.

  • Time overages (prior to 10 am or later than 10 pm) are charged $100/hour

  • No artificial flower petals on the ceremony aisle
